Duralast Brake Rotors/ Gold padlets?
Have slight grooving on all discs. Looking at all the good comments of Duralast Gold, need to replace rotors also. Any use these rotors / have any success? 2012 GS, 35k miles.

The oem rotors that belong on your car are only $63 brand new on Amazon. Don't put Duralast rotors on but definitely put the ceramic Duralast pads on. No dust and no noise.

I bought Duralast lifetime pads for my challenger that I used on the road course and was my daily for 5 years before I handed it down to one of my boys. I’ve been through 5 sets of free pads on it already....hope to get a few more.

thanks all for responses - just ordered Duralast Gold DG1419 and 1419A. with 20% discount - pads were 98.38 - I added one small item to get over 100.00 to get free overnight shipping. Great deal!
Also, thanks Oh Boy for suggestion to go to Amazon - found OEM 22812086 and "096 discs - shipping free with prime there. Just have to get a breaker bar now, as this is the first brake job on this car and I suspect the caliper bolts will be on there pretty good!
Two more questions - does anyone have a preferred Dot3 fluid? And, what do you guys prefer for grease on back of pad for noise abatement?

i bought the GM rotors off amazon for 64.00 a piece. good deal for my 10 Grand sport. i went with oem pads. the dust and noise suck but the way i drive my car i like the oem stopping power.
i did however put some duralast gold ceramics on the back of my speed6 this weekend. need to run it some more to see how they feel.

At 35k miles you are replacing the rotors already? They actually look to be in great condition, I would have them measured and if within spec, just take some 120 aluminum oxide sand paper(black wet/dry), put some cross hatch pattern on the rotors and replace the pads. There will be enough tooth to bed the new pads. I would also go with a pad made in the USA - Carbotech. They make about any pad material you could want, for street use I use their 1521's for very little dust.
