All is well here, thanks bud. How many kids do you have?

Poughkeepsie? Heh, a couple of lives ago me and two guys were taking a trip to Maine. When we got to Albany it was dark out and the driver went south, instead of continuing east, and we ended up in Poughkeepsie. It was daylight before we realized it and we ran out of gas, lol. We were a bit "under the weather," as the saying goes.

We did finally make it to Maine (Old Orchard Beach), and managed to pig out on lobster and beer all weekend. So it wasn't a total loss.

I have two daughters, 19 & 17.
Oh, the good old days before GPS. Hopefully you didn't run out of beverages due to your detour.

Here's the spot I'm renting while the house is being renovated. Eventually I'll get a garage spot back but this works just fine for the time being. Nice and dry!

All I remember is waking up in bright morning sunshine on the large mowed area off the interstate. One of the other guys was gone getting gasoline.
