Default Wet Sum vs Dry Sump

I am about to order a set of replacement Fuel Rail Covers for my 06 LS3. Corvette Mods list 2 types. Wet and Dry Sump. What is the difference between the two types of fuel rail covers. My current factory covers have the oil fill cap on the passenger side.

Yours is a wet sump. Dry sump has oil reservoir where battery usually is in eng bay. No oil filler opening on dry sump covers.

If you haven’t ordered already - don’t order from Corvette Mods. Do a search.

An '06 LS3? I will assume that is a typo.

Well, I have an '05 with an LS3.

I can't be the only one.

Well sure, but the engine isn't an '06.

Well, this ginger is Scottish, and Mr.owc6 did play bagpipes in a parade today, does that mitigate the sentence or make it worse?

We'll see. I have many executions to plan and carry out so your case will go on the back burner for now.

Depending on your behavior going forward, you may get off with a light whipping.

Their products and service have gone down hill fast. A lot of bad reviews in the feedback section. I also believe they are no longer a sponsor here.

while I've heard a lot bad notes about corvettemods, I have been pretty lucky over the years.
I can only remember one issue a had. and even that one was iffy. against my better judgment, I ordered some badge over lays.
( for the cross flags ). these were half checker pattern, half US flag. the condition was of the overlay was faded, like it had been in
the sun for a few months already.
otherwise, I seem to be the odd one out on poor service from them.
