This forum is great for exchanging information. No need to play "hide-the-ball."
VPK = very peculiar knucklehead?

Sorry I really wasn't trying to sound like a "A hole" - Exterior Appearance Package (VPK) became available in January of '08 and wasn't shown in the sale option ordering book - so there's no info of how many cars received this option on the '08 model - '09 had 67 cars ordered with this option - just 10 cars for '10, and it was dropped in '11. This option consisted of: wire mash behind front grill - side fender openings - and between the exhaust pipes, body color matching door handles, rear spoiler and license plate frame, under hood blanket w/Corvette emblem and lamp kit, car cover - all dealer installed. A second half of that option included special wheels (VPL). VPK was a $2100 option and doubtful came on a dealer ordered Vette - my car was ordered by the original owner with several special options including the VPK option. So except for cars owned by the original owners - 2nd/3rd car owners probably wouldn't know anything about this option offered by GM - would assume a previous owner might have installed the items himself - the reason for my comment - proof of the ordered option is on the "build" sticker in the glove box.

Never heard of that option. Thanks for the info. My 08 doesn't have it, but since it is the Indy version, not sure if it was even available.
Nice car.

Don't understand why so many cars are made with out them.
