ALMS Gt2 Blast from the past
Here is a picture of the car after my co-driver Boris Said got hit by a BMW and pushed the side exhaust toward the fuel line and the car caught fire.
Also attached is the video of rebuild of the car that we took to the Petit Lemans and out qualified the GM Factory GT2 cars
We got the outside pole and GM Corvette racing got 3rd and 7th.
We did some shakedown laps at the Glen prior to going to Atlanta for the race.

Boris Said now owns a very nice BMW Dealership in Temecula, CA, I bought a car there a couple years ago.
boris only had some burns around his eyes, he looked like rocky raccoon because he had his face mask up. Boris and I ran Corvette Challenge against each other and we ran Daytona as team mates also way back when.
Boris also got me one of his Earnie Ervin nascar trucks for almost nothing.
Good memories and so much history . 👍
