Default Door panel fastener removal question

I am trying to remove the sub panel with the window switches off door panels. They are held on with self tapping stamped metal nuts. The problem is the nut is imbedded into the panel so you can't get a wrench on it. All you see is the backside. Any suggestions on how to remove them? Thanks

I found a nut that would fit inside the inverted fastener. then bought a coupling nut in that size. This gives you a nut to put a socket on.

Be very careful as the plastic rod the nut is threaded on breaks easily. At least it did on my lock button panel.

Thanks. I will see if I can find a nut that will fit.
