Default Wild Turkeys

Use to think the wild turkeys around our neighborhood were cute. Got a text from my wife, she went outside and found 3 turkeys on my black C6. She thought that they were looking at there reflection in the car. Come home to find scratches on the roof, hood, windshield and the sides. Seems like they were trying to climb up the side of the car. They all look like surface scratches, hope I can get them buffed out. This is my first car so I don't have my garage situation all figured out yet. I guess I just need to keep it covered.

They are a PITA around here. My buddy had just purchased a brand new C7 Z06 last year. Less than a week after he bought the car a wild turkey flew right into the driver's side mirror and took it right off the car.

Hope you get the scratches out.

....I got no problem with wildlife hanging around as long as it doesn't become destructive. When that happens it's time to "dress em up" and bring on the gravy !!!!......

Get a scoped .22 rifle, and a box of short rounds, if they come back to your property turn them into ground turkey patties.

It’s chickens around here. A good indoor/outdoor car cover is a necessity. And that advice is a bit late. But, anyway, hope the scratches buff out!

Yeah they are nasty and aggressive. About all We can do around here is a pellet gun. Its too populated. If you hit one the dummies come right back.

I've never had turkeys (around here they are shy), but I have other birds do this (mostly cardinals) who have done damage to other vehicles.

Turkeys were introduced here in the 1970's. Now they are all over the place. They are dumb like chickens. They are all over the city and stand in the roads stopping traffic. Sorry you had that happen to your car.
