Clutch grinding - New Mcleod RXT
I installed a mcleod RXT in my c6. Took it out for a drive after getting it done. everything seemed fine, no funny noises. The car sits for 2 days.
Drive the car again - makes a noticeable ticking noise with trans in neutral, clutch engaged (foot off the clutch fully out).
The noise goes away if I rev the car in neutral. The noise also goes away when I disengage the clutch (clutch in, pedal down).
When the car is shifted into gear and clutch engaged the grinding noise starts. The grinding noise sounds like its coming from the bellhousing. The grinding occurs when load is placed on the engine. If I give the car a little bit of gas the grinding starts, it goes away when off the throttle.
I have not driven the car at any appreciable speed or distance since noticing the sound, just 10 mph down the street since the noise is quite disheartening.
I've tried searching the forums for other member's experiences. Of the similar stories I have not found any resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

Rear has to come out for thorough inspection, unfortunately.
This isn't going to just go away, hope it didn't cause further damage.
Sounds like it was a DIY, fortunately everything done is still fresh except PITA process itself.
IIRC several members on Z06 use RXT or some iteration.
They'd have some valid advise/insight, try posting on Z06, few really good wrenches over there.
G/L, keep thread updated w/ issue. BTTT

Took video/sound sent to Mcleod - all their techs are in agreement that its gear rollover noise and is perfectly normal. My first mcleod clutch, not experienced with an unsprung twin disk. So hoping its all good for now. Gonna bring it to the local speedshop and get a little more peace of mind.
