Looks cool. There are probably some regulations on amount of rear visibility that would prevent this now. Is this your own work? I would like to see some other views of this concept.

It would still have more than the Diablo.

If there was some regulation about rear visibility then what about cube vans and other types of trucks , unless they are exempt.
Definitely like the drawing.

Absolutely would like to have a split rear window, a Stingray emblem and some big hp numbers. If visability is a problem then let's hope for a video camera for the rear view; we'll always have the side mirrors.

You can guess my vote, see my sig pics. The concept at the thread start is especially interesting. Hood reminds of the midyears also, especially in the view posted.

this whole retro thing that every manufacturer is into is cool and everything, however I Think that the corvette is chevys flagship for new concepts and technology and should keep moving forward with design and performance, if you want a retro car go buy a '63. ( which are beautiful, I'm not trying to take anything away from them)

Maybe, it would be awesome if GM made a Vette that looked like that. Cept, they would never make such an awesome.

Split window '63s are sweet, but I think that they should be left in 63. The 63 coupe was one of those cool moments in automotive history where a "mistake" came to be loved. BTW, please don't take my use of the word "mistake" the wrong way...i love the 63's.
Nonetheless, I'm not a fan of retro styling either, it just screams that the manufacturer can't provide good original designs IMHO.

Yes, my first vette was a split window. I'm old enough now, if the C6
is a split window possibly my last vette could be a split window also.
I'm all for it. Bring it on.

Remember, the split window appeared 39 years ago. A large percentage of todays potential customers weren't even born then, and combine that with those would couldn't drive due to young age, anyone under 50 is a target. Pretty big pool, eh?
Speaking of retro, the reappearance of those godawful LavaLites seem to be doing very well. WHO do you suppose is buying them?

i see what your saying, my point was that the general can do the retro thing on other models , i think the vette should lead GM's faithful into the future, some might think that a retro vette could mean that chevy is out of new ideas.
