$33k for a 60,000 mile car needing some TLC is too high imho. Last Oct. I bought a 2011 GS, 3LT with 13,100 miles in perfect condition for $35.
Obviously the color is important to you but I wouldn't pay over $30k knowing you will need to address a few somewhat minor issues. Corvettes hold up well but 60,000 miles on any vehicle will wear on things. Brakes? Probably but replaced with what? $28k would be a good deal.

I paid $26k even when I bought my 3lt GS conv. 6sp with the Magnaride in February. Yes, it had 83k miles and needed a good paint correction. It also had new brakes, wheel bearings and tires and miles do not matter to me on a car I will likely modify and drive many more miles.
Some would say I got stroked, some would say I got a good deal. Doesn't matter, It was what I wanted, sold to me for what I was willing to spend and it was MY MONEY that paid for it.
Whether or not a price is fair depends on the buyer. The internet pretty much tells you what a car should sell for and finding auction values etc. is not that hard. Most important thing to do is set a budget for what you are willing to spend and stick with it.

11' Crystal Red w/ black guts. Paint correction with ceramic coat was $500. I was so impressed I am taking my 62' (which has a very nice but 20yo paint job) to the guy that did it and having him do a detail and ceramic coat.

It's not too high for a 2011 car. It's too high for the price that's being asked.

Hey everybody,
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am looking at getting into my first Corvette and was hoping for some advice on a particular car.
I found a 2011 GS with 60k+ miles on it that is both a color I like (its a bright orange color, he says it was only offered for this year model) and near me. I talked the guy down to $33k, but the price still seems high for the mileage. Do you guys agree with me? It does have an upgraded sound system and exhaust.
Additionally when I went to test drive this car (first time finally getting into a Corvette, it was ******* awesome), the tire PSI system was not fully functional (showing xx psi, newer tires were put on, seems like they didn't reconnect the sensors) and the replace oil sensor was on. I'd like to talk down the price another $3k but I don't think he will budge. Should I walk away from this?
Thanks again.
*Edit - From the VIN Decoder it says this is a 1LT trim.
Thanks for the input from everybody, it helps being able to read from all the differing view points. I've been patient this long, being patient a little longer won't hurt, although I have to fight the temptation pretty hard hah.

This has probably been said before in this thread, but location will also determine price, as well as the sellers motivation to sell. I've only been a Corvette owner for a few weeks, but reading through these threads about what to pay, what's it worth, etc., is entertaining. Most of what I read is opinion, some is based on price guides, some on ebay sold prices. Had I asked here before we bought our '11 GS, I may never have even looked at it, let alone bought it.
As a few others have said, if it has the options you want, and the price is fair to you, then buy it.
