Fiberglass Springs
Notice:
If you use acidic or corrosive cleaning
products, engine degreasers or aluminum cleaning
agents on fiberglass springs, you may damage
the springs. The repairs would not be covered by
your warranty. Use only approved cleaners
when cleaning your vehicle’s fiberglass springs

Liquiod laundry detergent, 1/1 out of a spray bottle. Somewhere there was a spray wand build up here on the forum,
ball check pvc valve, 2 ft abs threaded pipe, drilled end cap, 1/8” hole works pretty good for the washer orifice, can put a smile at the hole to create a spray, will take loose paint off with house pressure.

Everyone here seems to think soap (Dawn, Simple Green, Laundry Detergent, etc) is the solution to clean all the oil that was slung from the OP's bad crank seal ...
Well, The easiest and most effective cleaner is solvent based .... Brake Cleaner, Paint Thinner, Mineral Spirits, Diesel Fuel, Kerosene, Gasoline, etc.
Hey ... use what want, but water-based soap products are NOT the best choice for doing this greasy job.

Read the directions before use, some are Not aluminum compatible, paint thinner, kerosene was at one time cheap.
Pump diesel works good but leaves a residue that needs to be wiped off, some of us cannot take the aerosols well due to previous experiences so water base n slower cleaning for the biggest portions is the only way to get it done, today.

I was going to mention that! I believe it was Simple Green. But I thought there was someone who came on here quite some time ago and said something about brake cleaner, too---hard to believe since it's used so much in the industry that a composite would deteriorate from it. But a search will be your friend for sure, OP.
