i wonder if a guy could put a nicely cut-to-fit piece of cloth or carpet in there??
Or maybe some black adhesive backed rubber/foam insulation tape.
I've found good uses for something like this (or similar at Home Depot)
Foam Insulation Tape Foam Insulation Tape

go to a craft or fabric store and buy a piece of 1/8" black sponge rubber. It can be cut to size, molds easily, can double-side tape in place, and prevents sliding and noise.

I have to tell you, it is so great to see that someone is so excited by the car they just bought that they can't wait until daylight to take pics before posting a message. that is what car buying should be like.

When I bought my '08 last year (since sold and bought a '12), I actually got out of bed a couple times the first night to look at it. I didn't tell my wife, she would have thought I was nuts. I guess it is a little nutty to be standing there in your jockeys at 3:00 a.m., staring at your car....

great post...yeah I have a passion for Corvettes, this is my 5th one and now i currently have 3 (not sure that's good or bad )

i too got up in the middle of the night to check emails, knowing that nobody was going to responding at 3am...but i just couldn't help it. this C6 is nice, very refined (and that extra 100hp is noticeable, especially when i turn the traction control off...let me say, i wont make that mistake again!!!) and i still have my C4 when i want to rattle my teeth (and also grin ear-to-ear)

I'm a DIY guy, i was thinking a nice thin piece of black rubber would lay very nicely right down in there and wouldn't require any tape and no way would glasses slide on that rubber (unless youre trying to test that G-meter in the HUD
seriously, if they don't already make this, i see an opportunity for a nice manufactured liner for that door pocket, i bet it would sell like hotcakes

Looks great enjoy. P.S. If you do the Factory Nav you'll need to add the GPS antenna plus Microphone and Bluetooth. I added Bluetooth to mine it was easy. Already had the Factory nav
with the 3LT option and Z51

haha...so do I, and it is a constant battle for my coffee mug vs. sunglasses. I might try putting them in the door bin, instead. It is very hard for me to learn new things...

I'm going to buy a thin sheet of rubber from amazon or ebay (real rubber, not some variant of foam) and trim it to fit nicely in the bottom (it wont require any tape or adhesive). the rubber will grip the glasses and will also look like it belongs in the door cubby. yeah my cup holder is for my coffee cup

I rented a toyota van last year when a couple of our kids came up to visit, it has a checkered rubber on the console, things just seemd to cling there, need to find a sheet of that stuff .
