I'm not trying to sound like an *******, but several knowledgeable people in here have told you it's a bad idea. Why do you want to continue down this path?

If you're hitting the rev limiter at redline, the tune is set up with three options to defeat engine RPM - Fuel cutoff, Timing retard or Throttle control. The preferred and factory options are Throttle control and timing. Tuners will also use either of these or both as that last thing you'd want is fuel cutoff at full throttle even though it could be used.
