It depends on how stupid I'm feeling at that time. Like now, for replying to this post.

We've got lizards that like to live or run around in the garage, so I keep everything closed up because I don't need to get into the car and have one of those things run out at on me. One day right after I purchased the car I had left the top off & windows down. Took my oldest son for a nice drive and about 20 min into the drive a pretty large spider dropped down on this lap The Vette as been parked closed up ever since. Now with the Jeep that's tough as we keep the top & full doors off most of the year, so I'm always inspecting the interior for any critters before I drive away.

My '12 still smells new inside because I leave the windows up. No garage smells inside.

Usually drive in to the garage with the windows down. After getting out I use the window valet to raise the windows. Do the reverse when leaving.

Windows always up unless the top is down. I only use the cover in the garage in the winter. If I go somewhere overnight I bring the cover with me in case the parking spot has trees overhead.

What about indexing? Is the car trying to wear itself out?

I just spent $800 to have the drivers side rebuilt. The dealer wanted a grand to do the job.
