0-60 Device.
Im kinda jealous these newer cars come with such great tech. Such as 0-60 and 1/4 mile timers. PDRs and such. Is There a good GPS device or something of the sort for us to get accurate 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times on our C6s?

This is not exactly cheap, but mine is accurate to within 1/10 of a second of the E Town timing lights. Lots of other great features as well.

There's are several iPhone apps that do that. Search 0-60 in the App Store. One is called SprintBox. I don't know how well they work though.

Waste of money, and will tell you that the 0-60 on the corvette is just about 3 second. If you on the track with slicks, you can do better than this, but not on street tires on the street instead.
And its not a problem with HP, but grip getting out of the hole instead. If you are looking for something that will get you into the 2 second range, that that would be something that has 4 wheel drive instead.
The basic run down on the vet,
1/4 mile in about 12 second.
At the 1 mile mark still into the throttle, you should be around the 160'ish range.
At the 1-1/2 mile mark, car should be just about 200mph.
When you hit the 1 1/2 mile mark at top speed, get deep into the brakes, and the car will be back down to zero before you hit the 2 mile mark.
As for having said this, would dare to guess that less than 3% of vet owners have every rev'd the car out in 5th gear, much less seen the top end of there car instead. Hell, I take it farther, and would dare to guess that the amount of vet owners that have rev'd the car out in 4th gear, would only less than 25% instead.

Our base LS3 C6 cars are not 3 sec 0-60. More like 4.0. We arent that fast.

I thought my '05 vert a4 0-60 was about 5 seconds with qtr at @110mph.
I also thought it took two mile to attain too speed.
Never tested this and Dano is right with my ownership as I never redlined 3rd gear.
I like the tech of security cameras.
In that I would like to address anyone who door dings my car or does worse damage when parked.
Front cameras can also be good for traffic analysis and claims.
0-60 there are iPhone apps yet I think the standard most on the 'net claim for this is called the G Box.
Good luck in your purchasing decision.

I know this answer is a little off of what your original questions is but just a suggestion. If you want to measure results from a tune and stuff I wouldn't use 0-60 or even 1/4 mile. I would just do 3rd gear pulls from 2k RPM up to redline and time THAT. This gets rid of any type of launching errors than can be made by either you the driver, a slick surface, slick tires, bad shifts, etc...

So Ive been using with the Torque app. It doesnt seem too accurate. Ill run mostly around 4.2 to 4.3 in 0-60. But some runs it will say 3.5ish. I crealy dont have a Z06 0-60 time. So Im not sure if it was worth the money.

Might be more then what you want to spend, but this is what many people used back in the early 2000's to measure the performance of their cars: https://gtechpro.com/
I still have my old one but these newer models are light years beyond what I have. It was very accurate. It measures 0-60, 1/4 mile times, HP/TQ, etc. Most muscle and Sport cars has something similar built into the car now, but if yours don't, it's pretty cool.
