Those are to swat bugs so they don't stick to the windshield. Don't drive a Corvette in the rain it will melt! If I get caught in the rain I immediately wipe the water off or drive too fast for the water to cling to the body.
Washing the car is also a problem. I find that if you completely soak it, clean the dirt off and blow the water off with a "touchless" dryer will will usually be ok. Get the water off within 10 to 20 seconds!

This is what happened to mine when I stupidly drove it in the rain....
My friend with 2 Corvetts was caught in the rain and had to walk home and get his trailer. This was him taking the rained on car home...

Welcome to the most sarcastic forum on the internet! But seriously don't stop asking questions. Once in a while a serious person will come on and help you out.

Changing to mustang would be ok if it changed back when it dried out!!

Mine's my daily driver. Year round, hot, cold, sun or rainy days. Seems fine. Just have to wash ht more often when it's crappy weather. and you go through tires faster. Other than that. Drive it like your the one that bought it.

Depends on which glue they used at the factory the day your car was built. I hope you never have to find out.. Definitely don't wash it with water either!

Actually they do shrink and turn into the discontinued Saturn Sky!
I wish they still made these, they were pretty cool looking.
I guess someday i'll leave my vette out when it rains and let it work its magic.
