J55 is listed separately as an upgraded brake option on the GM build sheet for my Vette. It may always come with the F55 option, not sure about that.
An interesting note is that J55 is also the option code for the upgraded brake package on my Cadillac.

Burning Brakes
Hi all,
Like I said in my intro I would be buying a C6. Well I found one about a week and a half ago.
It's an'08 C6 with 3LT, HUD, F55, and J55. It's really clean and only has 40,000 miles on it.
I've been trying to familiarize myself with it and everything seems perfect so far. It was first sold in Arizona and then made its way to Texas. I'm the third owner.
However, there is one question mark for me. I have not been able to identify what brand of exhaust it has. It is just an axle back system with only two pipes exiting the rear. The quality and finish look good, but it does have some drone at some RPMs. I'll try and attach a picture so that possibly someone may recognize this exhaust brand.
If you recognize this exhaust let me know.
Thanks

Just ordered Borla.
Borla Exhaust Systems
Axle Back Exhaust - S Type Classic Series
2008 Chevy Corvette
(6.2L V8)
Part #: 11744
You guys are a trip! I like how everyone said the two pipes have to go. Lol.
When I was buying the car the two pipes stood out as a negative to me also. I used it against them in my negotiations. I actually would have put up with those pipes for a while, but the drone is pretty bad and always seems to be in the sweet spot rpm ranges. (right where you drive it).
Anyways, here comes Borla.
Thanks for the input.

Safety Car
I was about to suggest the same thing in picking up a used NPP system before you said you were going with Borla. Nice choice.
Congrats and welcome to the forum. Oh yeah, like the other forum member said, I like your fleet of GM cars.
