Melting Slicks
Hey, what oil should I use?
What are the best tires?
Who makes the best mufflers?
Black wheels suck...
Oh my dash lights came on and I had to jumpstart my car... what do you think is wrong?
If they would just Google this **** the posts would come up...
OK I'm almost done venting.,,,

Somebody posted here awhile ago that they think it is because these C6s are getting older (and thus cheaper), we are now starting to see a more younger crowd now buying them ... which obviously equals more new / younger members here on the Corvette Forum.
Just a thought ...

I really do like the idea of younger Vette buyers. For far too long, the Vette has been considered an " O.. M... car". Glad to see that changing.

I bought my first computer in 1992, went online in '94, read, learned, picked other people's brains, learned DOS and HTML coding from books, built a few websites, and got a basic understanding of PCs -- although it is a continuing learning process.
I have noticed since then that quite a few people a generation or two younger than me do not know that much about the workings of computers. This was a big surprise to me -- I assumed that anyone younger than me would know MORE about computers than I did.
Just yesterday, I was shocked by it again. I was at my best friend's shop and one of his guys was asking me about the CAM software I have, and why they were having so much trouble with theirs (a different make).
After talking a while, I realized their problems were mostly because they didn't really know basic Windows functions and commands, how to maneuver around on Windows, the basics of file naming, zipping, etc. If you don't know that stuff there's no way you're going to figure out CAM software, importing emailed CAD files, etc. And these guys are all way younger than me.
Oh well, sorry, this was going to be a one-sentence comment.
