Looking to buy a c6

I typically stay away from any new year run in a car which would be the 2005 model. On the plus side, there doesn't seem to be much if any bugs or issues reported in the 2005 and some people prefer the A4. The other plus, is you should be able to find these at the lowest prices due to age of the model year.

Go for the Grandsport! They ran from 2010-13. You get Z06 like handling/brakes but with a removable roof or convertible. It has the bulletproof LS3 engine. Had my 13 GS for over 4 years with zero problems. Best C6 you can buy!

I'm a new Vette owner. Just went through the same research you are doing. I was led to choose 2008. Just bought mine this Wednesday. I bought a 2008 Coupe with 37,800 miles, 2LT, manual transmission for $25,000 from an individual seller. Really good shape, but not a perfect A+ condition because it was kept outside under cover, instead of garage kept. (Location Alabama)
Most I found in that mileage were 27,000 - $29,000

Hey everyone! I'm not a C6 owner yet but I am in the market for one. Is there any significant differences in the 08+ as oppose to the older C6s? Also, is there a specific year(s) that I should try to get/try to stay away from? I have always had Jeeps and Trucks so I'm kind of clueless when it comes to corvettes. Any help or advice is appreciated!

Yeah I've been looking at 08+ but the paint is the one thing I could care less about. I plan on getting it wrapped as soon as I get it. Really I'm looking for low miles, clean interior, and a ls3.
