In the last ten years or so, I've seen:
Angelina Jolie's Jaguar XJR for sale
Barry Gibb's Bentley for sale
Neither of these cars were very overpriced if at all. More just talking points
But put Steve McQueen's name on a title history and brace yourself!
Danica Patrick who has a home about 5 mins from me had one of her Ferraris for sale and I understand it was way overpriced and did pretty well.

I think you'll get a lot more "Greg who?" than anything else, he's a couple generations behind the curve right now. I don't see his name adding much but it is interesting for sure.

Now if it had Michael Jackson's name on the original title you would probably have a bidding war
I have several Allman Brothers albums on my iPod but I would have no interest in collecting anything owned by Greg however there are probably some rabid fans out there who would. The problem is the people who are this wrapped up in a celebrity often are a little kooky and that impacts their financial health.
If you keep it you might want to have it informally checked for a forgotten vintage drug stash by your friendly local K9 unit.

My father, brother and I all served. I believe everyone who is capable should serve.
The car is a fun to drive and creates a grin ear to ear. Definitely continue to drive it unless someone really wants it.

I would hate to have my vehicle held up by a famous association. I probably would put the car for sale on Hemmings at a replacement price just to clear my conscience.

BMW has Elvis Presley's 507 in their Zentrum museum complete with big projection screen showing the ground up restoration. Personally, I'd rather have Gregg's car than Elvis' but I'd still drive it.

Because GA has passed since the person bought it, which might increase the value. It would not do so for me, and I was a fan, but for some, it might. I personally would not pay more for it because it belonged to GA, but that's just me (and you).

I would not pay one dollar more for a Greg Allman, Donald Trump, Jerry Seinfeld, etc car, the car is the car, its former owners are irrelevant

If not, then drive it, mod it, do whatever you want because in the end it is YOUR car.
Those people that emailed and begged you to "park it" tell them you want to "park it" then you buy it from me.

He has a large loyal following. Just look at the vigil ceremony held at his funeral...Cher and others. I definately think if he was the true owner you could sell for a premium. I personally wouldn't pay more but others would to have a vehicle he owned. I would sell and use the premium to buy a new Z or other car of my dreams...

If it sells for more money then you bought it for, great. Sell it and buy another one without a "celebrity" first owner.
