Default off button for heated seat stopped working

on my 2008 the driver's side off button for the heated seat just stopped working. I have to turn the car off to get the heated seat light to go out.

not a big deal, but I wanted to know if anybody else had this problem and what they did to fix it before I start troubleshooting.

thanks.

Had this problem also, happen once and did not repeat again so far.
I would imagine that the issue is with the controlling module, I believe is located under the seat.

The buttons may be sticking. All of my plastic buttons stick in the on position sometimes. The dic buttons, the ac controls, the heated seats. I put a shot of silicon lubricant spray around them and they stopped sticking.

First thing to do is pull the switch and check continuity with a meter. If it's OK, then likely it is damage to the connections under the seat, especially if you move the seat often.
