I had a Corvette decal on the windshield of a 2001 and was pulled over by VA state police and informed that it was illegal.

I have always thought they look good, but would never put one on my Vette. I know that probably doesn't make sense. I also like yellow Vettes, but would never drive one myself.

I guess it boils down to what others have said, which is, this is an unnecessary way of saying, hey this is a Vette I'm driving. So who is that for? If other drivers don't know you're driving a Vette, then they don't care. If they do know, they don't need to see that... so why bother?

I've never put a decal or sticker of any kind on any vehicle I've owned, not going to start with the Vette. To me it's like putting a front license plate on, just doesn't belong. That said, the yellow one on the first page looks pretty good.

"Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full." Not a fan either because it states what should be obvious to anyone looking at your car - its a Corvette.

Tell that to the Texas state legislature please. I'd like to be able to drive around without a front plate without worry of getting a $200 ticket.

Local police won't ticket but State Troopers might. More of a problem down south by SA.

No front plates on my vettes from 2004 till now...all daily drivers....no problem.

Default Fashion Police!

That is funny, and yes this is off subject of window decal, BUT, I had a Kansas highway patrol pull me over, during the "conversation" he informed me that my license plate frame was illegal as it "Inhibits The Reflectivity of The License Plate". He further insisted that I remove it as soon as I got home!!!! Yes, he issued me a citation, along with the speeding ticket........

I've been stopped five times specifically for the lack of a front plate, and this was before they added the $200 fine. I was also pulled over once for speeding, and the city cop who stopped me walked to the front of the car to check for a front plate. If I hadn't had one it would have been a $400 ticket.
