Are you guys with stock height C6's able to put them in the center and drive over them without scraping anything? I have an '05 which I believe is stock height and clearance under the front air dam is only 2.75"

I have the 7000 which is 1/2" higher than the 5000 when fully collapsed. I leave mine down all of the time and ride over them whenever moving the car in and out of the garage. I have them positioned just inside the wheel base, leaving about a foot gap in between them. This is to allow room for the headers, which may sit lower than the stock system. I don't leave the rubber lifting blocks in place though, as these may not leave enough height. So when I want to lift the car, I pull the lifts out the side slighty, drop the blocks in, and slide them back into position to lift the car. No issues. And again, this is with the 7000 which is higher.

Will the 7000 work on a C6 Z06? While your not working on it, can you park your vette over it as well?

I don't imagine the Z sits any lower than a base C6 but I couldn't say for sure. My 7000 stays down year round with my Vette parked over it.

hey guys,
Could somebody measure how much the front and rear tires are raised from the ground? Is there enough clearance to slide 12" wheel cribs under? Or would 8 or 10 inch cribs work. I have an 07 z06 and for added safety while it's upright and locked or if I wanted to lower onto wheel cribs
Would that work

Thanks!!

Just by looking at the pictures, I'm sure the 8 inch tall ones will fit, but I would like to get as close to the height of the tire as possible.

I have a C7 and have a set of 8" Race Ramp cribs, and they fit under the front and rear wheels with a little clearance at full height.

I also have a G8GT and the same cribs do not fit. The suspension droops more on my G8.

I would say 8" cribs would be your beat bet. Doubt 10" cribs would work, and can almost guarantee 12" won't.

thanks G8v8.
I assume they would be pretty similar (c7 and c6)
If anybody else has used any cribs on a c6 , please chime in.
I was really hoping to use 10 inch cribs, but 8 inch may be my only option.

Default Quick Jack

I was just working om my c6 and took some pics of wheels height at front and rear with BL5000 Quickjack, on my I don't think 10s will work, but that's on mine. You make the call.

Thank you so much MLRS !! This forum is great.
Im ordering the 8 inch tall cribs-- I think the 10 inch would be pushing it.
