Hey guys, I really do appreciate the concern and input and the recommendations just as much. I am fortunate this isn't my daily or anything. I will say, the tuner has always been professional with me. My issue isn't to bash them for closing down- that would be absurd; I am just upset that my car is left with its towel down after 4 months of waiting.

I will likely just finish the build on my own in my garage and take it to a reputable shop (likely Vengeance) to tweak the tuning. The car ran good and strong before the engine went out on me (40k mile ls3 ).... so imagine my headaches going into this.

Do you believe that it went down because of the SC addition, or do you think it was just a coincidence? I was thinking of a SC, but I am not sure. Hate to take a perfectly good driving car with 28K and spend $7K to have problems.

If you don't mind out of state, pack it up and send it to Virginia Speed. They did a great job on my car. They will make you as fast as your bank account can stretch.

Ask for Shannon.

ECS would also be a great choice.

Get it out of there, fast. I know a girl who had her Jeep disappear when a shop shut down. She never got it back and her insurance company refused to cover the vehicle for theft as it was not reported in a timely manner. The owners were never found as well as her vehicle. The police indicated that it probably ended up in Mexico.

Really? They hardly seem either professional or competent about their trade or about their business management skills.

wow....imo fail started at second bullet point. obviously they dodnt verify the tune on the street so it was a bad tune plus i doubt they flushed the block and cleaned out the needle bearings. they seemed to be shady at best.
good luck!

This is one reason my engine builder/tuner is 15 minutes from the house.

Even better, it is the reason I am the builder/tuner and is at my house 0 minutes away.
