Cable in glove box

Probably an iPod cable. I have one in my car but never have used it, so I really don't know what the connector looks like. It was installed "just in case" when I had my aftermarket Kenwood installed.
Do you have an aftermarket radio?

You have the Dealer installed PAL version 1. It may have come as a factory option or added later. It is listed out on my 2010 window sticker. You can add one of these:
ALURATEK AIS03FG 30 Pin Bluetooth
To stream music over Bluetooth. It works very well and there are no cables to connect to your phone. It just stays connected in your glove compartment.
You can also upgrade to version 2 of the software. Here is a ton of info:

I finally bought an Apple 30 pin adapter yesterday, but it still doesn't work. I'll try the Aluratek.
Thank you!

I am guessing that it is attached to a PAL. If so, you have to attach your i(Whatever) to it and then put the radio into XM2 and then see if it will play.

What year, since if you have a later model car with OEM nav, then the cable could be just run back to plug into the USB port in the center console.
If older model car that did not have usb nav input, then could be a GM pal or some other type of input device in the car instead.
So what stock radio, and if not a Nav unit, then bank that you have have an an after market input device in the car that the ipad cable is going to isntead. Hence the cable in the glove box, would bank that you have have to pull the center console to figure out which, since it going to be mounted behind the radio isntead (Isimple or other like devices)..
Hence on the devices, you will be using the XM band on the radio for the device input into the radio.
Note, could be that someone just installed the cable to just charge a Iphone instead. So not device, and the cable only run back to power alone.

Hey, in case anyone finds this discussion and wants a PAL already updated by C6 Corvette Modifications (kawal.net) to Version 2 in March 2019, and includes the white IPOD (wide ~1") connector,
please PM me ASAP for this rare, no longer manufactured Radio interface.
It was in the 2010 C6 I sold, but it was considered a "non factory" mod by certain buyers, so I removed it before Sale.
I used this official GM PAL interface with both AUX mini phono cable as well as BlueTooth (via an appropriate generic APPLE/BlueTooth adaptor sold separately), Its Avail now. PM me to make a deal on this Rare C6 accessory (updated PAL, plus the white apple cable).
All u need is the appropriate readily avail kawal XM harness to tie this into your C6 for your application! Get modern AUX input and even IPOD/BlueTooth capability in your earlier C6!!!
