I think he's saying if you don't drive your car very often, you will get spiders and lizards in it...Hell, I went out one morning and found a 3 foot Rattlesnake under my C4...Spiders and lizard don't even get a second glance.........WW

I try to drive mine every week.. I have a number of vehicles and try to keep the batteries up on them all by driving them.. I live in the south where road salt is no issue.

By the same token down south where I live you get insects in one if you drive all day every day.

Surprisingly my battery didn't die after 5 weeks. It cranked up like a champ. I live in NC so salt and snow isn't too much of an issue.

Wow, pretty impressive on these cars that your battery held up over 5 weeks. I need to drive mine at least weekly or I put it on the trickle charger.

That looks like a pretty nasty spider web there get the extra strength Raid on that job!

Is that a black widow spider??? That would freak me out!! ( I hate spiders ). I drove my car for the first time in 2 weeks due to all of the rain we've been having here in tx. I open my hood today and a gecko jumped out......it gave me a little............rush

yes, that is a spidey...the right side of the body shows four, left side legs might be hidden. Looks like a BW...not very aggressive, but very defensive. You don't want to poke your finger in one's web...they move like lightning...

Looks like a black widow!!!
Used to have one as a pet, and she was deadly as hell with what ever she was feed, including grass hoppers too.

So the lizard in her web, did not stand a chance once she was able to bite it.

As for the two ***** in her web, they are egg sacks and you want to kill them with fire before they hatch and you have a black widow infestation problem isntead.

I don't know what kind of spider it was. I did kill it and smashed the eggs. I let the lizard go though.

I bet more wear and tear happens from Corvettes sitting around than they get driving. I had to evict some furry vagrants from my cabin air filter area after mine sat around for over a year with its previous owner and on the dealer's lot. Thankfully it looks like they had more appetite for the filter paper than the wire insulation on the car. Can't find any chewed wires and everything works. Gotta get these things out of the garage!
