So, is OP saying this is NOT a Chevrolet, or GM dealer? The dealer is saying things to the OP---the statements made may or may not be true. OP, you need more help and more info to know what you are buying and whether it is worth it. I don't think you have that experience level to do it all on your own, even with Forum help.

Question: since you don't say where you are, is there a sophisticated Corvette indie shop in your town that can look over the car for you, at your cost? Or, a Chev dealer with a great technician who knows Corvettes who can do the same as the indie shop?

Without that, I believe you're in a forest, and lost.

I disagree. A lemon buy back is a big deal. It shows up on the carfax as a branded title and most dealers will not touch them if you ever chose to trade it in.

To the OP: You might take a look at this. It was written by a consumer protection attorney who specializes in lemon laws. In fact he wrote a book titled Lemon Law Bible.
