Seen a few pink Corvettes. Here's a C6 at a Maryland "Cars and Coffee" meet a few weeks ago, with my '13 GS parked behind it.

Owner has a Pink Panther toy riding in the back. Pretty sure it wasn't for breast cancer . . . just likes pink.

I actually like Angelyne. Yeah, she's a bit older and a different kind of eccentric, but a very interesting person.

As strange as she appears, it's still better than the druggies on street corners with their hands out, that still haven't left the 60's.

She is old, odd looking and way past her prime. Seems like a typical Corvette owner to me. Surprising that so many here are picking on her. She has had a C4, C5, C6 and she is currently driving a C7. And unlike a lot of Corvette owners, she drives her cars.

I restored a 1970 Trans Am Challenger in the 80's. I painted it the original FM3 (Panther Pink)
It received very positive feedback over the years, and I sold it for a nice profit years later.

Pretty sure nobody away from Southern California would know her. She is well know to those who frequent the Sunset Strip and that is about it. By the number of miles she always has on her Corvettes (she has driven pink Vettes since C4 days), it is probably her only car. They are usually very clean even with the high mileage. She is a weirdo but is clearly a long time Corvette nut like most of us here.

Ford sold a whole bunch of Playboy Pink convertibles between '67 and '69. Hefner gave one, with a white interior and top, to the Playmate of the Year during that era and all the girls wanted one. Fortunately, I believe they restricted the color to convertibles. I don't think they produced any Playboy Pink Mach 1s or Boss 302s. Can't imagine a 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1 in that color.

I looked up the eBay listing on the 2008 C6 to see if it sold, and it looks like it did not. However, that auction was in July, and the listing mentions the damage to the 2016 C7. So, it looks like Angelyne is in no hurry to get the C7 repaired?

Pink is a nice color. If I would have seen a C6 in the pink shade that I like when I was shopping, I would have bought it.
