Looks good, not my cup of tea.

Side note: It's interesting to see how many people bish about the C7 taillights looking like they copied the Camaro, then see people liking the custom install of the Camaro heat extractor in the Corvette hood.

Full disclosure: I like (read: love love LOVE) the new C7, and as said above, the hood heat extractor looks ok-good but not for me.

Has nothing to do with looks. This is a functional thing for those that don't want to spend thousands on a vented hood. I see no relavence in your side note.

Relevance: Camaro hood vent vs Camaro-ish taillights. People like the actual Camaro but not the "sort of looks like Camaro". Sorry you didn't get it and sorry it pissed you off.

LOL..seriously.... why would it **** me off. I am just trying to point out to you that this became a way to get the function, without spending a ton of money, and it doesn't look half bad. My personal choice would the stock hood as is, but some of us need the venting.

It has nothing to do with Camaros, or C7's, other than the Camaro vent happens to fit well on our hoods.

Have a nice day.

This is definitely still on my project list. I keep seeing other silver cars doing it, and i like the look! Would probably help a lot to keep air moving in the bay too. I've even considered the mustang longer rectangular vents and doing one over each header.

These look great! I have the big block hood on my '64 and just love the look of the vents on the side of the hump. They aren't functional, but look great.

Good job guys, way to make it your own!

I thought about the side vents too; even looked at the Mustang vents to install... But went with the camaro vent. I'm a Chevy guy and Ford products would be a slap in the face to the Corvette.

On another note... I love the new Corvette(rear lights and all)... Waiting on the mid engine to come out next year... I might upgrade to that, if 1. The price is right 2. The specs are good 3. They don't try and make it too Lambo style...

Will be interesting to see if this really comes to life... and as you point out with "#1" - the price. I'm guessing if it lives...expect north of 135K.

I'm gonna go with base model around 60-70k....zo6- 90-100k...zr1- 120-150k....annnnd I bet since they'll be in the 'supercar' class... There's gonna be a special edition model.

This may be something I'll do if my aftermarket vented hood starts to desintegrate. Wish I knew about this before hand.

How far forward can you move this camaro vent before you run in to under hood obstacles?
