Thinking about selling..price advise needed..2008 C6
I'm debating selling my 2008 C6, 78kish miles, 4LT, HUD, Z51, dual mode, Nav. I don't drive the car very much as I commute pretty far and have a daily driver. I'm a service manager for a dealership so It's preety easy for me to maintain it. Clean carfax, over 50% tires, brakes. Overall I would give the exterior a 9/10 and interior the same. Any suggestions on what I should expect for a asking price. Here are a few pics.

FYI.....Cars.com has a 2008 4LT and Z51 with only 31,000 miles on it for $27,900. Clean carfax.
So I would say $25,000 due to mileage. I deduct $1,000 per 15,000 miles.

I've been looking for a white auto C6 with that kind of mileage. If you decide to sell it, let me know. I'm usually in Arkansas or in MD.
Thanks
Thanks

OP, some good ideas in the several posts above. I don't know about $24K as a buyer's price but it would not surprise me. Still, if you're willing to wait for a buyer, $26-$27K may happen.

For me, low mileage doesn't mean much if it's been beat on or not cared for properly. I checked out a 17k mile '07 base (read: base of a base, no features, lol) that had major engine knocking issues and a window button broke off in my hand while test driving. My 80k mile '06 has its own minor flaws (knick here, scratch there) but is mint compared to that piece of garbage.

High mileage cars are usually highway driven in 6th gear most of the time anyways. Mine is an 08 with 60k and its always at 1000rpm just cruising along. I would say I value your car at 26k.

I don't think there's science to it, just his method. Everyone has things they look for, either good or bad, to justify paying more or argue paying less than asking price.

My questions were to understand how he came to his conclusions on mileage related to cost. Science, maybe not? But a methodology and logical rationale so I can understand it, and apply it if it makes sense to me.

Ask the appraisers at your dealership to help you with value.
