Have you had your C6 above 160mph
Just a general question I was wondering how many people on this forum have had there corvette c6 above 160 and how many never have.

Advanced
Had mine up to top speed. Not sure what that is as my eyes were glued to the road. I've also had her up around the 160 mark with the top off, bad idea! Stuff was flying around the car like a damn tornado lol

I had my GS to exactly 160 mph at Talladega down the backstretch. Exactly 160, and it was the only time ever at that speed.
I've had it to 150-156 mph hundreds of times over the course of a few years tracking it at Daytona, Talladega, and Road America. Street driving was never fun after that.

Melting Slicks
My '12 A6 'vert shifted from 4th to 5th at 159 at full throttle, causing a major decrease in acceleration, and I was running out of clear road, so 160 it was.

Living here in the congested Northeast I am a bit jealous!
Did get my C4 over 130 at Pocono once, and managed, on a very wide open freeway somewhere in Ohio, heading to Bowling Green during the last Caravan (think Tour de France "breakaway"), to get near 150 a couple times in a C6. Great fun, and, honestly, the car really felt relaxed at that speed so I am certain if I lived in "flyover country" I'd have tested its limits.

Burning Brakes
Lots of stretches of flat seldom used roads around here. 169 recorded on my GPS and if I would have known that I would have kept going to hit 170. Now at least I have a goal for this spring.
