Mine was fixed for $1000 at the dealer, only to have it re-occur less then 450 miles later, enough to where it was dripping on the garage floor. I took it back last week and they still have the car. The service manager told me that the TSB that was used to fix my car was updated since the repair with a new gasket and oil pan and they had to call GM TAC to find this out. Its still waiting for parts as I type this.

Anyone have access to the TSB's for this issue ?

EDIT: Is it both the gasket and the oil pan that need to be replaced ?

It could be the pan it's made of cast from my research and can weep by itself, trouble is to do the pan you need another gasket. I fixed my own, it's a pain but saved me 800 bucks!

Hell yeah it will work. I saw the infomercial at 3am while eating a box of Twinkies. That stuff sealed a shark bite hole in a Jon boat!

IF you try messing with the oil pan seal and still find a leak after ensuring the pan is sealed, have the rear main seal area inspected for a weeping block. My LS3 block had this problem. It required the epoxy to "seal" the block. It CAN affect any LSx based engine. See the TSB covers almost every LSx based engine.
