I put the car up on ramps today and took a look at the Borla exhaust S Type II it started to rattle a little. I loosened the clamps over the axel and the one at the end of the X-pipe. Twisted it, tightened them both and made sure it was straight and level. No more rattle. Whew. i took it for a ride for about two hours round trip. No rattle.

My air bag warning light was on so I decided to zip tie the harness under the seat. However, when I went to move the seat it didn't work. So I took out the seat checked the wires/harness zip tied it all together, tucked everything neatly back and replaced the memory seat fuse. Now I have no warning light and the seat works fine.

P.S. I got all the directions and ideas from this forum.

Spent about 3 hours cleaning the vette inside and out so I could drive it in the rain Saturday evening to the my local Detatchment's MC Ball. Oh Joy! Always like it when it rains again before I put 1 mile on the car after a good detailing is done to it!

Was on shift Saturday.

But Sunday morning outran a Stang along the bottom of DFW via I-20 on the way home.

Then went to church later on that morning to ask God for forgiveness for causing domestic violence. You see it was a brand new GT and I'm sure he went home and took it out on his significant other for going with a Stang instead of a Vette.

Disclaimer: I do not approve of Domestic Violence.. but I have been known to cause it..

Default Fun time

Fellas this was the most I was able to enjoy my car since I bought it in summer of 2012. Military assignments take away daily driving options. For me I did the following:

DRM Bilsteins
Z51 front spring
Z51 sway bars
Four wheel alignment
Replaced a bad ignition coil
Replaced Right Rear TPMS
Side marker black outs
RP max clean
Clay bar
Polished
Rejex

Lastly I drove the $hit out of it while I could. Pure bliss and euphoria! I envy you guys who have the option of daily driving!

Yanked the seats out of the Vette just before leaving for a week in Florida ..... traveling in the Mama-mobile due to a health issue (rats!). With the seats out, tomorrow is perfect for cleaning the black ~ actually ebony ~ carpet and trying to actually get the glass clean. In a couple of days the seats will be going to an out of town friend where they will gain embroidered headrest emblems !!! Spending the weekend with some car guys doing car stuff.

I put my car into storage for the winter hibernation which will be until April 1.
Oil change, 40 psi in tires, full tank of Premium "real" gas with Stabil.
Hooked up the Battery Tender, and covered in a heated garage.

That's exactly what I have planned for tomorrow, although I don't have a heated garage.

We've had a remarkable fall -- warm and sunny -- but it's starting to deteriorate. The 1-2 week forecast isn't good.

People are not all the same.

Living where I live is WAY more important to me than any inanimate object -- including Corvettes.
