Default 182K+miles

It's been a while since my last post. Maggie's hanging in there. I've decided to drive her until temps falls below 40,and park her. My job is sending me away for a year. When I get back she going straight to Lingenfelter. My only decision then will be to Supercharge or not.Name: car4.png

Yes she has, I've been one of corvettes biggest sales man, off the books I've let a lot of guys and gals test drive it. Two of the guys were thinking about Porsche, don't remember the model. I know one changed his mind after I let them drive, the other was on the fence.

I think we should start a club!

All generations invited, but with a strict initiation policy.

I'm on a three day trip to Crater Lake NP and my 06 just turned over 82,000 so I've got plenty of miles left to go!

And when were the valve issues addressed or are they still stock?

My 07 Vet is a DD with 200K miles on it. I bought it with 2 miles and overall it has been a great car, but as with everything, things do brake when you play hard.

Replaced my diff around 80K miles.
Replaced my A6 trans around 155K miles.
Replaced my oil pump around 170K miles.
Replaced A6 shifter assembly around 165K miles.
Replaced A6 shifter cable around 120K miles.
Bypassed cooling fan block because it melted. Cooling fan was at 100% for to long. around 107K miles.
A6 trans computer fried its self around 95K miles.
Replaced my alternator around 75K miles.

I have a 6 inch binder with all paperwork and records. Every year I replace all fluids / filters / plugs & wires / "belts and hoses if needed". I drive the car pretty hard when I am off of work once it is warmed up and I let it cool down when I get home. I plan on keep it, until parts are to hard to find, which should be a while I hope.

My Vet is an 07 "LS2" that I have modified. The valve issue I believe was mainly for the "LS7". Not sure if this post was for me, but I just wanted to reply to it.

Fuel pump replaced at 75k, cracked EVAP line.
Diff half shaft gaskets replaced at same time.
Alt upgraded to Billet Tech 170A at 100k.

Only other problems were normal wear and tear items.....end links, battery, brake pads and rotors, shocks, tires, plugs and wires.

Almost forgot........front turn signal bulb went out at 145k.

Diff is starting to whine some but my transmission mechanic says he has heard new ones make more noise.

I just supercharged mine at 154k, pulls strong, no oil consumption. Good luck
