Default ever stop and just say wow

its a beautiful day in Michigan ( which we don't see often) and I have been in the vette all day with the top down. Sometimes I just say to my girlfriend man am I lucky to own this car. Its not a Ferrari, its not a Porsche ( not a fan) but its my baby and to drive a corvette is just an absolute pleasure regardless of your year. Just wanted to take a moment and stop the I wish had this mod, or I wish I had these wheels and say man am I fortunate to have this kind of a car. What a driving pleasure.............I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend and ENJOY THESE AMAZING CARS

I want to be superficial and say, "I Love My Corvette". It's not just another car. If it was, I'll be driving a rice burner or a mustang. I know my Corvette loves me too, she honks at me when I walk away

....when I park the car in a lot I always turn and look back and marvel at how much I really like this car........I did that with my 65 back in 69 and every one of the others since.....I'm totally sold out on Corvettes and have been since the days of Route 66.........

Each time I push the start switch, every time I see it, every time I drive it I am thankful and think WOW to myself.

Cheers

I have a '15 Subaru Forester that I drive most of the time. The Forester is a nice little SUV, drives well, but when I drive the Vette, it makes me appreciate it even more.

Drive my 07 everyday and even mundane drives are enjoyable. Puts a smile on my face everytime. Not many cars can do that.

I drive a 10 y/o tundra as my daily work truck. The vette is just a pleasure to drive/look at at the end of a hard day when you feel you have nothing for all your hard work......then you see it in the garage and it really makes you appreciate all that you have.

Got home from a 1400 mile round trip to Carlisle. Washed the bugs off and put her in the garage - turned and looked and wanted to give her a hug just the way race car drivers do at the end of a race win - love this car....

I have never owned a Corvette and always wanted one. I had a 2010 Camaro SS which I sold a year and a half ago. Owned it for 5 years and had a blast! Long story short I got the itch for another toy so I went out and bought an '06 base coupe 3LT with MRC! I just got it on the road last Wednesday just in time for this glorious holiday weekend and I'm happy to say I have found my new love! Pulled the Targa off, went to a car show on Saturday, and just got back from a 200 mile cruise today! I agree with the OP, I'm glad to have a Corvette! Just to enjoy it for what it is, Amazing!

I just went outside to look at my '09 coupe, and I am as happy as ever.
