An informal poll. Which axle back exhaust are you running? Are you happy with it? Did you try something else and switch? Thanks for any info! Oh, and if you happen to have a tube video, a link would be much appreciated!

I have the Corsa Extreme and love it. Was wanting the sport but this set came up for sale on this forum and I jumped on em. In my opinion, they are not too loud, really not loud at all. Extreme is the wrong name for these.

Retired & lovin' it!
Started out with Corsa Sport & X-pipe.....then added AR Headers with their hi-flow cats & x-pipe....kept the Corsa mufflers. Exhaust sound is awesome (all my club members say they know it's me that's coming) & picked up a few RWHp to boot!

I put Bullets on mine, and I love the sound!

Stock back. But I have a Vararam CAI, a DiabLew custom tune, and custom made headers. When I get on it the stock pipes are plenty loud, and when idling they are not too loud, so that bugs me some

Borla Touring. If you want loud this one's not for you. It basically deepens the tone of the exhaust, but doesn't add many decibels to the sound. It was just what I was looking for, but it ain't for everyone.

I'm stock back too. Sometimes think about going slightly louder cause it needs a little more rumble....but then you have to consider the attention that louder brings from the fuzz. And with the car being bright red i'm not sure if I need more attention.

Changed twice
In stock configuration, the exhaust was so quiet that I could not shift the MN6 by ear. So I put on the B&B Route 66. (I also have Kooks long-tube headers with cats, and the Kooks X-pipe). Sound was nice, but terrible drone from 1500 to 1800 rpm.
Finally this year the Route 66 axle-back came off and the B&B Fusion went on. Great sound, no drone, but WAY TOO LOUD in the so-called quiet mode. But you might like it. Being an engineer, I took matters into my own hands, and now I am very satisfied. See: http://tinyurl.com/nlw6uht

I've owned the Corsa Sport and now have the Borla ATAK. Both are quiet at highway/cruise and I find no difference in the two as far as having no drone. Both are quality exhaust. The difference is in the WOT. The Corsa is a nice "filler" and much better than stock, but you're not turning heads in fear of the power you have so to speak. The ATAK is much deeper and a little louder but not that much louder. Just a nice deeper roar. I added the X-pipe and a set of headers and now in my opinion it sounds like an American V8 should. Still no drone, but at WOT it's Nascar like. Rev it at a stop light and the person thinking of jumping at your won't. I have sound bites, but they don't tell the story. Each one sounds about the same on the video. Don't be scared of the "LOUD" ATAK or other exhaust notes because I was at first and left me tell you they are all much louder than in real life. If you want something a bit more than stock go Touring. If you want a good solid loud tone go sport. If you want on see'ers to wet their pants in fear or awe...go ATAK or extreeme.

I'm not running any mufflers with dual tips and still on factory exhaust manifolds. The car is quiet even with the procharger.
Ran B&B bullets on my h/c c5, now that sounded like a beast.

Thanks, that's helpful. I do want to add decibels, but I don't want anything too loud. I think I'll end up getting something mid range like the type-s or Corsa Sports.

I do like the sound of the B&B's. Was thinking maybe PRT's at first. I don't think it's as much as an issue with the top down (which is 99% of the time), but do you get any drone from the Bullets? How are they when cruising on the interstate-much louder than stock?

But a little louder is definitely what I'm looking for.
