My son and best friend have both driven the car. In addition another forum member and I traded cars for a few minutes. I drove his C7.

I would probably let just about any celebrity drive it if they promised not to wreck it. It's just a car and I've got insurance.

Besides the dealership personnel, only 2 ladies have been allowed to drive my Vette(s).

My 27 year old niece gets to drive whatever Vette I've got when I see her, about 2 or 3 times a year.

The other lady is a friend of mine who has one of my previously owned C6s. She manages the small burger restaurant owned by her father and where we go for lunch one day a week.

Wife will use car to go play tennis only, (Places a beach towel over the seat) because she is able to park in a 35 spot parking lot with only seven other cars. She will not drive the car with me in it .
I have two sons 33 & 36, Wife & I spent three days up by the 33 year olds house to babysit our two year old granddaughter when mysteriously he had to drop off his 2015 F3500 for service the afternoon we arrived. So, he asked to use corvette for work the next day (His wife said why don't you let you father drop you off ). After work the following day he picked me up to get his truck from the dealer.
Then on the third day that we were there, he asked if I would pick up lumber for his deck with his pickup (He stated lumber yard closes before he gets home) and he will use the corvette to go to work. I agreed & received a call in the morning that the lumber yard did not have what he wanted in stock He got me again !!!
The 36 year old drove it once with me in it, He stated he would probably receive his first ticket in many years if I was not there
Any A List Celebrity who wants to take a free photo shoot with me & my family and the corvette

Just me. I doubt most people realize how low it is to the ground. You can't drive it like a normal sedan over speed bumps and in entrances to parking lots.

Default When Do I Get To Drive??? Is the Question...lol

Well....We shared the 1986 and 1990. She claimed the 2007 and the 2009 as her daily driver. I was left the old Town Car and now 2001 F-250 4x4. She is an experienced corvette driver.

When we got the ZR-1. I helped get back in practice as the last stick she drove was a 1990ish Mazda pick up. We had some fast starts (border line hole shots) light to light since she "didn't want to stall it"....lol She learned quick and now instructs me at points....hmmm??

Now things are worse for me ....eeeek. I don't even get to drive it when we are together any more. I can go get gas for her and drive it when she is not going. She loves the car and makes her smile so it is all good.

As for the celebrity ......ask my wife.

My 21 year old son and my friends all get their turns. The car is pretty smooth at 130 in the passenger seat, I had to look over and just see what my son was doing.

Nobody. My wife keeps bugging me, but she never saw a pothole she didn't like.
I'm driving out to my daughter's place in Colorado next week and I just might let her take the wheel on the Peak to Peak highway. Think she'll notice the difference from her Solara?

I let my step son drive it on his 16th birthday while teaching him to drive a stick and I may let him drive it tomorrow when we go to a car show together. However, he will NEVER drive it by himself.

I also tried to teach my wife to drive a stick in it and she wants no parts of the stick, but she is clamoring for a C7 of her own!
