I may be a dinosaur but the C6 is the last Corvette to have real gauges as opposed to a video game dashboard. I use my C6 on racetracks and it weighs over 200 lbs less than a C7 which makes a difference. The C7 ZO6 also can't last more than a few laps on the track before overheating. The styling is subjective but I think the C6 is just so nice and clean while a C7 is very busy with a all the trim and vents, etc. A C6 is easy to modify and there are a lot of tire and brake options for those who track them. The C7 has too many gears and it's easier to miss shifts with that tight of a shift pattern. Why is everyone adding so many gears with the torque of the newer engines?
The only thing I really like better about the C7 is the torque of direct injection and the seats.
If someone gave me a C7 free I would take it but I'll stick with the C6 for a long time.

Default C7 is a mean and sexy machine

I have been waiting for the C7, I bought a 2015 Z51. Every time I start her up I smile and chuckle. She is fast, sounds great, so confident around corners. She is everything I ever wanted. When you C6 guys drive one you will want one, too.

C6 is a beauty and I want one too. I want to buy a garage queen and take her out often.

Don't be such snobs you C7 guys. Corvette hit a rare home run with the C7. Let's rejoice!

I intend to keep mine for a long time.

Not interested in any C7. Going to wait and see what the C8 offers.
I'm with you...also I have 3 kids to put through University soon...still loving my Victory Red '07 after 8.5 years

Can't wait to see what the C8 will offer.

I don't see any room on the back end for a trailer hitch on the C7....how would I pull my track tires and tools to the track?

My C6 is paid for and has more capabilities than I ever will as a driver on a roadcourse.

It's already hard enough not to go to jail driving on the streets/highway, so more performance is not needed for me personally.

All I need is stickier tires and more seat time on roadcourses. If I ever get to a point in my life that I cannot drive my C6 on a roadcourse, then I will no longer own it. For me the only place to truly extract the most fun out of a Corvette is on a racetrack. Too many downsides to driving fast on the streets.

What's the reason I'm sticking with the C6..... simple, money. I refuse to lose 30k in depreciation again for a new one.

I am too damn tall to fit in a C7! My knees hit the dash.

Sticking with it.. I only just purchased it last August. Hope to keep it for many years. It's perfect for me as a dd. Adding power is easy enough and I have never needed the "latest and greatest" anyway.

Quite a few reasons:

- No thanks on cylinder deactivation for my Sunday driver sports car, ever, period
- Fueling limitations of DI on the base car
- C6 lines are more classic and overall appealing to me, C7 is trying to hard to look European, too busy, to many creases, scoops, and vents.
- To much technology, for a daily driver I would love it, not for a car I drive a couple of days per week.
- My C6 already makes substantially more power than even a new Z06
- Mod friendly platform beautiful in its simplicity
- I don't give a rat's a$$ about better seats, a set of Carravagio's is way cheaper than buying a new car just for seats.
- paid off
- There is no real improvement in my mind to either the motor or suspension, its the same set up with more electronics and stuff to break. To me its more of C6.5 sans the exterior.
- and of course the rear end, just can't get past it.

I bought a new '13 after the c7 reveal. Was underwhelmed by the design. As a matter of fact,I found the c7 to be the ugliest Vette I had ever laid eyes on and it has nothing to do with the tail lights. I have since had yet another '13 GS,which may very well be the best looking Vette ever....and I've sold that one too. I am taking a break from the Vette for a while. To many over the last 15 years...and the c7 has grown on me slightly to a point I can probably live with one...lol. Not sure I want to spend all the money on one though...So maybe a used one in a while... or a PORSCHE...

Two reasons. I have too much invested in mine and have it just the way I want it and the looks. I just love the smooth lines of a wide body C6.

What's not too love?

Oh yes, the blind spots and the C7 seats are too narrow for a big guy like me, 6'2" and 250.

For me, there are two killers to buying a C7. Externally, I think they look waaay overdone, too much "noise" in the styling, too many angles, and too much resemblance to a kid's Super Rover Gadget Plus toy car.

Internally, the C6 is very driver-friendly, and the LS3 can easily be modded for more ponies.

Overall the C6 captured the beauty of legendary racing cars, both modern and vintage. The C7 looks like it was created by a robot. It was a good move, though, because it is appealling to younger buyers

I want a C7 and like everything about it.
But there's a few reasons I'm waiting to get a C7.
They always improve/fix and add things each year with a new Generation model.
Have been waiting for MSRC to be offered on the C7 without Z51 which is now offered on the 2016
Will wait, for a Used 2016 or later model year because I'm tired of paying new vehicle prices, sales and higher excise tax.
Waiting until we set up residence in Florida or we hit the Lottery.
Yeah I know, Probably be living in Florida before we hit the lottery
The last option would be to buy a new C7 when my GM card has $5,000.00 in Earnings towards a new vehicle and discounts on the C7 hit 12% or more.

In the mean time I'll enjoy my C6 and dream of upgrading
