How do you exit your C6?

Well, I don't touch those bolsters-learned that when looking at C5s that had seams ripped. So, open the door (otherwise lower the window), Pivot to the left and place left foot out, right knee bent and right foot still on the floorboard, use primarily the left leg to push up and right leg to help. Right hand is still on the steering wheel or possibly on the door pull handle. Seems to still work well possibly because I am relatively thin.
Not sure of the best way to exit from the passenger side. I've tried my process from the passenger side and I get all tangled up.

In my C4 and C5, there were either floor sill pads or bumps in the door jamb to place your outboard hand and hold/push yourself up and out. The only such area I think I've found on my C6 is a raised area just above the door latch on the rear door jamb. Is this it? If yes, it's not nearly as convenient and easy to use as past models...to me anyway.
What say you?

There is more than one way to do this?

This car is the reason I started working on becoming a street magician. My plan is to learn to just open the door and "elevate" to an appropriate exit position. In the meantime it is a pretty ugly process of which I have no concise description.

Like most of you I use the left hand on the sill to boost my fat a** up and out sometimes using the "A" pillar for extra leverage. That said, many years ago while working at one of the former big 3 I was invited to sit in a Lambo Countach. I got in with some difficulty and found myself in a bathtub with a very nice leather seat under my butt. The trouble and laughter came upon my attempt to exit said slinky vehicle. In no way could I get my legs past the steering wheel. The attempt to pull myself up using the roof failed terribly. Since the Lambo doors opened up and to the front they were no help at all. I finally gave up and sort of slithered out over the rocker and down onto the pavement. I did not accept any more offers to sit in slinky sports cars.

Sometimes swing around with both feet on the ground reach between my legs with the right hand and grab the rocker panel and pull. Left hand on the sill sounds more graceful and easier on the paint.
Haven't tried the tuck and roll into a gymnastic pose, but it sounds really nice.

It's not easy, but I have a special kind of lift/roll to get out of the thing. Compared to my Taurus, it's a PIA. I keep the getting out to a minimum, so I just go for a drive and then go home.

Surprising how many people responded with exit issues due to age, physical problems.... Just goes to show how much yall love your car.... Guess I'm lucky that my back, knees, and hips have no probs.... 52, 6 foot, 170 lbs...
I paid close attention at the beginning of ownership to not wrecking the bolsters since I saw so many with worn seats.... But now I never really think about it.... Just left foot out, a lil push off the interior plastic sill with left hand and stand up.... Usually have a phone in my right hand....
Still can't figure out how the heck some of you put both feet out and then stand up...seems very awkward....

Melting Slicks
I used to place the palm of my left hand on the door sill and push myself up. But that was before the door sill was wet and I almost fell out.
After I tore my left bicep, door sill method would no longer work. I learned a new method that works great.
Left forearm/elbow push on seat, so easy to exit now. I come out taller rather than rolling low off the door sill. Also, left leg is on ground at the same time.
