Default Caliper Colors

Greetings all. I have a triple black 2010 GS. I like the contrast of colored calipers but don't want red. Are there any pictures of a murdered out C6 with painted calipers other colors than red?? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Regards, Peter

Mine are silver. I've seen a few with yellow calipers.

Oddly enough, I want my black GS to have red calipers. If you're interested in trading we could work something out...

You do know that red is the law in most of the lower 48 states?

...and for comparison

RED

I didn't care if it is over done or whatever, it looks great. I was contemplating blue and some other colors but kept going back to red and I'm glad I did. The car is having gunmetal wheels put on real soon so it will no longer be "murdered" in a few short days.

Most murdered out Vettes I see have red or yellow calipers, but I think a bright, candy blue would nice. Maybe something similar to the blue of the ZR-1s.

I guess I'm out of touch but I sure don't understand some of the descriptions on the forum. Murdered out??? Are these just the young owners or do the old guys talk like this too?

I think it must be a generation thing. We used to call it "blacked out"
But whatever, each to his own as they say.

This photo came from the "black GS thread".
Chrome wheels, I know, but the blue calipers really compliment the black.

I would still go with red on a black car, IMHO.

I find it pretty funny when the "over 30" guys try to talk like teenagers! Oh well. Whatever makes them go, I guess. Live And Let Live!

Back on topic -- I think Red calipers are always acceptable on any color car, but if you want to be different -- I'd vote for the ZR1 blue or yellow calipers on a black car.

Maybe Street Outlaws had something to do with it as Shaun's car is called the "Murder Nova", and it is very bad ***
