I'd have the exhaust system checked over really good. Sounds like you're getting carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sure, carbon monxide is odorless and all that jazz... but it's still exhaust.
And I don't smell no exhaust.

I'll be testing that theory more using the paddle shifters. It's only been a day or two, we'll see.

Sit in the car for a while without starting it and see if you still get sick.
Apparently nobody understood my point, which is this: Depending on the outcome, doing the above will rule out CO gas.

Burning Brakes
From Experience; if you got light headed when you got out of the car, stood up , then walked into a restaurant because you were hungry; I'd seriously check my blood pressure and my sugar levels. It has the sound of low blood sugar. Have the your doctor run an A1C test. I get that way sometimes and that's my cause. Age does not matter ! I'd also check for carbon monoxide. On another note, it's interesting how medical issues can affect your teeth and how tooth and gum diseases can affect your health. I'm having more tooth and gum problems since I started with diabetes.

Maybe deep breaths are the problem
Good thing I wasn't hungry, I was just going to meet up with some friends for a cocktail. I've have regular checkups and I probably drink too much coffee, but I think I've got a fairly balanced diet and come out pretty clean from the doctors. And again, seems kinda strange to me that I can be 100% fine, to a drive, to feeling crappy.
I'll def have the car checked out, and definitely try some dremamine too, just in case it is automatic transmission sickness or something along those lines.

You can still get carbon monoxide poisoning even if you don't smell "exhaust".
Same thing in your house. That's why you put carbon monoxide detectors in the basement and what not. Because you don't just smell stuff in the basement and look for carbon monoxide, it's odorless and you can die from that stuff.

Check CO poisoning. I doubt these are the symptoms. I suggest doing a few deep knee bends to see if that makes you dizzy. If so, it's the bp as others have suggested. Else, check the exhaust system.

CO was the first thing I thought of too. But it could be merely coincidental with driving the C6 ... tell your doctor what you posted here and get checked out. Could be symptoms of either CO, or something possibly serious. Doesn't matter what your age is.

I experienced the same feeling as a passenger in my '05. The mechanic was trying to duplicate the acceleration hesitation by accelerating quickly, stopping, and doing the same in reverse, several times. in my case it was motion sickness, plain and simple. No, I didn't barf, but i felt dizzy and a little "green".
