Not So Fast

Hope I'm not breaking a rule here but I browse the other sections just because of this, to see whats going on and I'm nosy
This car just has "THAT' look imho, clean, brisk, stance and I do like the C-5 coupe a lot. GEORGEOUS!!!

I don't care for the C5 tail lights and front end as a matter of fact the C6 GS is the best looking Corvette to date.

I'm with you to a great extent. I've always liked the way the C5 looks from the back ... wide and low. In contrast, the C6 looks a little choppy. But I still like the C6 a lot better. Never cared for the front of the C5 with the flip-up headlights, plus they weren't very good lights. I like the look of the C6 much better in that regard, and like the C7 front even better. Just can't get over the "angry Camaro" back side though.

I guess I pretty much like all Corvettes.

I always loved the C5 from day one. The C6 was a nice evolutionary change from the C5 and it grew on me right away. The C7 ... well I'm still trying to warm up to it. Right now I'm at about 32 deg F. toward it.

I agree about the C6.

The *** looks okay on the 5s, but the hidden headlights had run its course IMO. Forty-some years was enough.

I think the way the headlights are styled into the C6 enhances its looks.

C5 verts still look modern imo. (top down) especially in that spiral gray color. otherwise I've never liked the C5.. thought of it as too big.

Actually that car is not a c-5 coupe. It is called a hardtop or a fixed roof coupe. The true coupe has a removable top. I had a couple c-5 coupe's but I like the
C-6 much better. I like all Corvette's and wouldn't mind getting a C-7 but I like the C-6 so much that I am in no hurry to trade up.

Yeah pop up headlights look absolutely ugly when up. Down they look pretty damn good.

The C5 is the reason why i started to love corvettes. My dad worked at a chevy dealer when i was in high school and got to sit and ride in a couple of them. I was hooked then. Never gotten to own a C5 though. Got into imports growing up.

The GS is my first corvette. Very happy with it.

Besides the headlights, i think the C5 still can hold its own in terms of styling. The interior not soo much though lol.
