...I tried to use both Huskerbux and Ruxbux but to no avail....... went to Topeka yesterday with the Featherlite trailer and made the exchange of assets plus cash from the buyers of the Featherlite. Got the Polara Bear home in its trailer last night. Will get it out this weekend.... growing season getting going early due to no rain in the area and warm temps. just trying to make a living and doing the best I can......... reminds me of a song but I think I played it awhile back....
good to see Swaytomany back and Seemee...... keep fighting the good fight Seemee..... good on you.....

Premium is $3.65 a gallon down here. Crude is finally back in the low $80s.
Just received notice of 3 new wells to be drilled in a lease I’ve got a working interest in…..
$5.6M minimum for each. Thank goodness It’s a pooled lease and my % is very small.
They tried to buy me out 4 months ago but I already knew of their application for the new horizontal wells. Thanks Texas Railroad Commission.

I got the other 62.5 pounds of clover seed down this morning. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I cut down another big cedar, shoved it into the woods, and dragged the limbs in as well. Got the 4 wheeler loaded in the truck. Only 10,000 steps so far today so I'm slacking. Now I need to eat a bite of lunch, wash the dishes, lock up, and head for home. I won't be doing anything else today except taking a shower.

Our gas is up a quarter a gallon in the last week. Up about 40¢ in the last 3 weeks.

They were in the middle of a field. The two I cut out of the one field blocked probably 50% of a shot opportunity at a deer in the field bottom. If you don't stay after them, cedars will take a whole property over. I spend a fair amount of time spot spraying small cedars. They are pretty easy to kill. Brush hogging them in a field will kill them. Hardwoods just end up sending multiple shoots up from the cut stob.
I have reclaimed probably 5 acres of field with brush hog and chainsaw since I bought the property 7 years ago. Hard work, but it also makes the property worth more.

For the early subscribers, today would have been David Jay Olshina's (AKA HAMISTER) 81st birthday. Still miss the guy's wit after 8 years.

I wasn't hanging around here back then. From what I have read, too bad for me. He was just a couple of years younger than my mother.

Nothing wrong with black wheels on the right car. Although silver is one of the colors that I think chrome goes really well with....
