Randy has been practicing his Thanks button again.
Hammy you had to post those snaps. ......I just had to try some 303 on mine. Got the brush out this morning after waxing the front and sides (I had done the upper part and rear a few weeks ago). Came out pretty good for so many miles.
Now I need to pull the battery to clean the tray.

There is no way anyone could possibly tell your 'vette was 8 years old, with 157k on the clock. No way!
Based on those photos, you could tell anyone your car is 1 year old with 7,500 miles, and they'd have no cause to doubt you.
Well done!
I love looking at engine bays like that, and the art work, while not my taste, is just beautifully done.
I wonder if anyone else would like to show us a snap or two of their under the hood machinery?

Oh, before I forget, Randy, I seem to recall reading somewhere that you're looking for a good buy on a Grand Sport.
There are a number of them being traded In South Florida for new C7s.
I've seen a few over the past few months in excellent condition with relatively low mileage.
I remember a 2011, and a 2012, one CRM, and the other VY about a month ago at a local dealer.
If finances permit, I'd suggest the '12, or '13, only because they are the most refined of the GS production.
If you're interested, I can look at the car for you, get all the info, and take photos.
If you were really interested, you could fly down here, stay at my place, (we have plenty of room), and drive a GS home.
It would be especially nice during the upcoming winter months, when it's really beautiful down here.
Let me know.

Thanks Hammy.
Steve Ray did a great job with the airbrush and design. Almost looks as good as day one. Small scratch on drivers side FRC from fuel line when I changed plugs and wires but it is hard to see.

Geeze, it's really too bad we're spread all over the country the way we are.
It would be nice for all of us to get together in person.

Just did a quick search for Randy.
These are typical of what's available in my area. These 4 are just a sample,... there are many more.
Like I've mentioned before, Grand Sports are holding their value very well down here.
Great for the seller,....not so much for the buyer.
These dealers will negotiate, of course, but not a whole lot. About 5% at best.
I have a feeling in years to come, some of these guys who are trading in pristine Grand Sports for a low end C7, will be sorry they did.

Interesting. They show a AW vert but say the car is red. And the other AW say it has a blue interior. Wasn't the blue only on the 6th anniversary special?

Mistakes like color, interior, and sometimes transmission type, are fairly common with all of them.
The only thing that is always correct is the mileage, and the price.
I'd always call first before heading over to a dealer.

I'm going to start and look hard at things next spring. Hopefully the Corvette purchase gods smile down on me. It's going to be our thirty year wedding anniversary so we may tie our purchase into that celebration.
We'll see how things pan out next spring. The way thing are now days I never plan on things too far into the future.

Fess up, your just tired of the nasty base room...umm parking lot. And you want to act like a big shot living way above his station like all the other GS owners.

I am digging the skull scheme.
