Thanks Mike,
Wish I could help. Have you posed this question on the General Corvette Forum audio/electronic section? Double D Mods sells Kenwood NAV, and also includes the wiring harness to mate to the C6, so I bet either he or other members have either installed this system, or know about it.
here is a thread about that model found in the audio section.

Good luck

I have had mine for a little over a year. Should have swapped out the factory unit as soon as I bought the car. I bought from Dennis at Double D mods. Easy to deal with and a wealth of information.

I have it as well and love it. Zero issues. Didn't buy from Dennis but have heard nothing but good things about him/his shop. If I had known about him when I made the purchase, it would have been from him. Good luck.

Kenwood has gone down the flusher since JVC bought them. Please go over to Kenwoodforums.com and see all the complaints about Crapwood. Slow boots, randomly looses settings, laggy interface, random reboots. I would look at the complaints there before you drive in. Caveot Emptor!

Wow man..... Are you still at it? Is someone paying you to tear apart kenwood because you sure do invest a lot of time in doing it!!

I've had my Kenwood DNX6960 for 5 years and it has been flawless. I purchased the unit from Dennis at Double D Mods and he was great to deal with. His price and service were great. The Garmin Nav works just fine, as does the Bluetooth interface for my cell phone. The unit has iPod capability, satellite radio and I installed it with a back-up camera. I've had no trouble with it losing my pre sets nor have I had any random reboots and the boot up time does not seem excessively long to me. I have been, and continue to be extremely well pleased with this product. IMHO you can not go wrong with the Kenwood and Double D Mods .

Thanks Mike,
I have the unit- came with my car. It seems to work very well. UNTIL I take the top down. Its hard to see the display in the sun. Not sure if the factory unit was any better. Cheers

As he should be. There is a small contingent of us on this forum who have been burned by Kenwood. I've bought 2 - NEVER AGAIN. He is absolutely right to refer the OP to kenwoodforums and do his own research. Just remember: Kenwouldn't.

And to Flame Red, "crapwood". Love it!

Thanks Mike,
Your going to want the newer 892 unless you have a vert.

The 892 has APTX for Android if your using an Android which is CD quality streaming for your music. It also has mirrorcast as well for wireless mirroring of your smart phones

http://shop.doubledmods.com/C6-Corve...e-C6DNX892.htm

if you have a vert you will want to go with the DNN992 for the Capacitive touch screen which makes it easier to view in the sunlight with the top down.

I have had the 891 model in my C6 since September. Zero issues with it so far. It's my DD so it is in use daily.

Once I figure out the commands to be able to change the boot up splash screen and I add that in, it will be perfect for my needs.
