Default Dirty Butt

I have been wondering (maybe its just my car) Seems like EVERYTHING
Sticks to rear fascia. Here in NC the Pine pollen is Awful this time of yr.
Last evening took the C6 out ( to pick up Chinese )

I noticed when putting the car in the garage the Azz end Rapped up
In Yellow/Green Dust. But.., not just this time, every time its driven
Sand, Grass, etc is stuck on the rear......

Now, My C5 does NOT seem to have the problem?

IS there something with C6 design that magnify debris sticking to the
rear end? Is it just me?

Same here and fellow NC'er. The back of the car does seem to get dirtier than anywhere else. I find myself wiping it with detailer every other day or so.

Yep, for whatever reason, the back end of these cars attract lots of dust and dirt.

Turbulence causes junk to flow around the rear of the car and adhere to it.

It has to do with the shape of the flat rear. Especially with a spoiler on it. It creates a sort of vaccum effect as it moves through the air. Happy wiping. Fred D.

Clean car out of the garage. Dirty rear end one mile later.

Yep...the rear is a magnet and gets dirty every time you drive it. If nothing else, there is always a fine film of soot from the exhaust.

Not just these cars. It's the aerodynamics of the wind over the car and generated static electricity.

Happens to my C5 every time I drive it. Get back home and a nice layer of dust on the back end.

Watch the video of a C6 in a wind tunnel and you'll see why it happens. You can't have it both ways.

The first thing I'd suggest, is don't pick up Chinese. They're ok, but Colombians make much better wives/girl friends.

Now, watch this at 1:20 sec., and you'll see why your *** end is forever dirty.

I use Griot's Bug Barricade on the nose and tail. Clean up is a breeze, 90% of the tail scum comes off with a duster.
