How long has it been since you washed your Vette?
I mean actually had it in your driveway with a bucket of soapy water, hose and sponge?
For me, it's probably been at least 6 or 7 months....probably since some time last summer. Yet my car looks freshly detailed shortly after every time I park it in the garage thanks to some great detailing stuff and my supply of fiber cloth rags. Not driving in inclement weather helps, too.
I do take it out whenever the forecast calls for dry weather days and for us here in the PNW, that's been pretty often this winter.

I wash mine so much the neighbors think I'm nuts, some times every day depending on the weather or how dirty the roads are. Last washed on Feb 17, hooked up the tender, covered her and left for work. I won't see her again until Apr 12.

As a guess, it's been about 6 years ago since the bucket in the driveway. I do the wand wash ($1.75 worth of quarters) about twice a year before claybar and Rejex. Other than that, it's been the drive-thru. It's not a show car.

It's been a year at least for mine. I don't drive in the rain,of course it really doesn't rain in Phoenix. But I detail mine a lot, clean the rims, tailpipes and the windows. During the summer, windows get done more often due to bugs. I always keep an eye on the sky, especially during our "monsoon",which can surprise you. When people see my car, they always ask me if I just washed it and tell them........yeah,last year !!

2 days ago bucket wash in driveway. I'll wash it anytime it looks dirty to me. My cars haven't seen a car wash drive thru in like 10 yrs. Always by hand n bucket even when it was 30 degrees out when I lived in Ma. I had a hot water hook up in the garage
Now in Az. I don't have to worry about the cold

Sometime in October. I miss doing that in the summer. I did it weekly, even not driving it much, I just love washing it and getting some sun rays.

Will be washing it from a bucket this very morning. And blowing water from the hidden spots with hose.
But the last time was a long 6 days ago. With payment book in hand I enjoy neatness.
Just my way......LOL........... HK

I schedule spring and fall but will wash sooner if it gets dirty. It stays in the garage and I use a California Duster other times...last time washed was Sept-Oct 2014 and it's always a bucket wash, car washes around here can't fit the Vette in, too low.

When my car is extremely dirty like got caught in rain or after long trip I will take it to car wash and use the wand on it to get the big chunks off...then back to the shop to blow dry it with the leaf blower....then I will use Chadwicks on it to finish. If its just dusty I will give it a Chadwicking to remove dust and give it a shine......So a lot of times I don't even use water.....
