Thanks for all the warm welcomes and the handy links for local clubs! New Michelins go on whenever this crappy weather moves out. It still had the original tires on it with a bit of tread left. Guess I get to burn them off.

@treydg2003, Fuel coffee is definitely a great spot. I use to roll through there every once in awhile with my EVO. That's more the crowd I look for. Car enthusiasts who drive/track their cars. I bought it to drive it. Now to save for the supercharger.

huntemor. Awesome! I will look into that. We will have to get together and meet up sometime since its not too far of a drive. Just far enough for me to take a few twisty roads on the way to Cincy!! I like uhhh beer and cars "anything with wheels lol" So we should def. do that. It will be sometime still thou I do believe. The forecast for Maysville here is 55 tomorrow with rain and then 8-12"s of snow wed and thurs

First let me say Kudos on your new to you 'vette.

Also congrats on having good taste when choosing a color.

Since you ask for suggestions...
You need to dump those 1950s style chrome bling wheels, and get yourself a set of black wheels.
In 2015, chrome means show, while black means go!

Sage words grasshopper.

Welcome to the forum!
There is a Indoor Corvette Swap Meet coming up on Sunday 3/15/15 at Columbia Chevrolet on Montgomery Road. Good place to start looking for parts and people who know Vettes.

Welcome.. in Cincinnati as well. I don't do the club thing, been to Fuel a couple of times. I'd say Fuel is your best bet.. wide range of cars there. We have a pretty tight group here with a wide range of cars, but we mostly **** talk and stop race. Congrats on the car.

Keep the chrome, your car looks great the way it came. Black wheels look good on some Vettes and those usually had that as an option from the factory(GS/Z's), chrome looks good on your being silver and all. When guys in their upper 50's & 60's are telling you what's cool take that as a clue to stick with what ya got

I'm just being sarcastic about the whole age thing so please don't get butthurt if I offend any of you.

You certainly didn't offend me, I'm way past my 50s, and 60s.

Love the look! Welcome aboard....! So good that you can enjoy this fantastic vehicle at your age.....! Most of us would have loved to have had the equivalent in our 20's! ....but as older folks, we must do what older folks always do.... say...."be careful!"

Kudos!!!

You'll find that C6 a world of difference from your ol' C3, but frankly, I personally have always preferred the C3 body style.

Default Bring on Spring

With the beautiful weather this weekend, I got the new tires installed (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3) and multiple drives done this weekend. The car is a beast and I am just touching the surface. Still no WOT pulls until I get her on the dyno. Previous owner installed all of the goodies without a tune and my previous experience in the import world says that is no good. CEL light is on for 02 sensor codes. Going to touch base with Cincyspeed this week to see about a dyno session. Hope everyone's weekend was good.
