More importantly, how could you even suggest that he change out those totally hot looking GS wheels, for 1950s chrome bling?
Shame on you!

The chrome GS wheels are nice, but there are a lot of Corvettes with chrome wheels. I like the bad boy look with the black wheels. I may send them out to have a red pin stripe put on the lip, but need the damn snow to melt so I can drive it! The dealer also replaced the worn GY Runflats with new Michelins Pilot Super Sports!

Well… I finally got one…
A 2013 Torch Red over Ebony 60th Anniversary Corvette Grand Sport Coupe. 4LT Full leather interior – doors, dash, console, and Alcantara suede inserts in the seats with optional red stitching. Black headlights, Black alloys, Auto, Nav, Heads Up Display, Memory seats, Dual Roofs: Solid and Transparent removable tops, Dual Mode Exhaust, ZR1 Rear Spoiler, Optional Red Brake Calipers, and Heritage Package with embroidered headrests & Silver Hash Marks on the fenders.
It has a really low VIN #000020. When I looked at the build sheet, it had a unusual RPO - “OAR” PRE-PRODUCTION VEHICLE (“BATCH" PRODUCTION PROCESS). This was part of a early MY 2013 batch built April 2012 in the 2012 production run. Kind of cool. Because is was still on the MSO, it still has 22 months of warranty left.

This is what I sold to get the Grand Sport. I got it when I left California (Smog inspections are a hassle on old cars) and moved to Bentonville, AR - yes it was a culture shock...
It's a 1968 RS. It was simple and I could work on it. It had a ZZZ 350 crate engine - TH350, 12 Bolt Posi, PS, PDB, Tilt, Flowmaster exhaust on Corvette 8" rally wheels with red stripes. Some say I shouldn't have sold it, but I'd had my fun. I took it on 3 Hot Rod Power Tours - But this year, I'll be in the Grand Sport!

Thanks! I'm from Orange County, CA. Only been in AR for 8 years. I found my car in AZ. I had been looking for a Callaway SC606, but wanted an automatic - I found a Blade Silver and Cyber Gray one but the wife said she always wanted a red one, so search changed while i had a clear "approval to buy". Unfortunately, the storms came through and we've had snow, and now ice. I miss my SoCal weather...
Car looks great, and it's always exciting when they come off the truck!

Hameister - You are correct - it had previous owner. Well two I guess. Since it was a "pre-production" vehicle and the heavy options, I'm thinking it was a plant car. I'm going to check with the Museum to see if they would know. It went through the a Tennessee auction to Arizona where is had a owner for about a year. - That owner was considered the "first" owner when the car was first titled, and that's when the warranty first started.

It didn't make sense to me that you found a brandy new one.
That's great that the dealer installed a new set of Michelin PSS tires for you.
Since the original GY tires were worn out, I'm guessing the car has about 8,000 to 10,000 miles on it.
I say that because 8k to 10k seems about average for those below average tires.
I've got 6,400 miles on my '13 GS, and from the current wear, I'll probably be replacing them at about 9,000 miles.
If you wouldn't mind, since we have very similar cars, I'd like to know what the mileage is, and how much you paid for it.
If you'd rather not say, that's ok too, I'll understand.
I don't know how long you've been monitoring these forums?
If you have been following our threads, you no doubt saw many Chrome vs. Black wheel debates.
They're all in fun of course, except for a few who never learned how to take a joke.
Glad to see you joining our ranks, because we are definitely in the minority, (about 30%), but our numbers are growing rapidly.

But, you're gonna love that GS, trust me, you'll smile every time you push that button ordering the LS3 to commence!
