IMO, this is what I think the lifestyle means. I could be way off base on this however.
1) Own a Corvette
2) Belong to a Corvette Club
3) Attend Car Shows and Other Corvette Events with fellow Club members
4) Would much rather clean and polish, than drive it.
5) Only drive your car in the sun, on weekends, mostly to Corvette Club events
6) I guess belong to a Regional Corvette Forum
7) Most of your friends are Corvette Owners, and they also belong to a Corvette Club.
8) Would rather attend a Corvette Event than go on a road trip or a Cruise or other vacation
9) Any road trip taken, is a short trip, with other Corvette Club members.

I can't think of anything else

I can't help you with that, although I've owned a Vette for the last 10+ years. However 3 or 4 business people in town recognize me when I drive up to their window in the Vette, but not in my wife's car.

Two 7-8 year old neighbor boys made a fuss about the Vette when I pulled into their driveway to leave something for their parents.

LV2TOUR has some good ones but didn't include the WAVE. Got to do the WAVE even if you don't get one back. Could be they didn't see you. Some of us enjoy a long trip, especially if it includes Bowling Green. Oh yah, if 90% of your tee shirts have the C6 symbol on them.

Not a lifestyle, it's a car.

How did I forget the Wave

Actually, I can't consider myself in the "lifestyle", because of the 8 things I listed, only #1 really applies to me....and the wave

and...I don't own any clothes with a vette logo on it.

I've owned Corvettes for nearly 30 years. I always thought it was more like a genetic defect.

I really enjoy ownership and driving my car, but it doesn't define who I am.....nor do I want it to.

I like having one in the garage and have met some great people because of it but if it's gone tomorrow, oh well.....

And if someone wouldn't want to associate with me because I didn't have a Corvette, I certainly wouldn't want them to associate with me because I do have one.

it is a feeling of brotherhood / sisterhood for lots of us that only other owners understand. Much like bike and jeep owners when they meet. For me, it was the last thing I wanted since childhood and was finally able to afford.
